Registration policy: Please read carefully before registering

The BICA 2012 Registration Fees are, Regular: $680 USD, Student: $380 USD, Guest: $150 USD. Our registration policy is that at least one author of accepted paper or abstract shall pay the Regular or Student registration fee, and at least one Regular or Student registration fee payment for each accepted paper or abstract is required before the final camera-ready submission deadline. Moreover, one Regular (full) registration payment is required for the first paper of the authors, meaning that, e.g., a paper cannot be covered by a student registration payment, if it is the only paper presented by the authors. A proof of the current student enrollment is required for Student registrants, and must be emailed to the Organizing Committee in advance of the payment.

Regular registration includes: admission to the conference, one year complimentary BICA Society membership, BICA bag and t-shirt, conference proceedings, welcome party, 2 lunches, coffee-breaks, social dinner, a special Geminoid event and a post conference excursion. Student registrants have the same rights as Regular registrants and receive a one-year complimentary Student membership in the BICA Society. A Guest registration is limited to the welcome party, Geminoid event, social dinner, and winery excursion (no gadget or proceedings).

Extra page fees for accepted papers that exceed the 6 page limit are $50 USD per each extra page and can be paid together with the registration fee or separately. The quotation and the receipt, if needed, must be printed from the browser during the payment process, as described below. To ensure publication of your paper, the conference registration and the extra page fees must be paid by the final camera-ready accepted paper submission deadline (which has been extended to August 31st). Payments must be made through this BICA Society website using a major credit card.

Registration payment implies acceptance of the BICA Society Bylaws and a one-year Free Complimentary Membership in the BICA Society. To decline acceptance of bylaws and a Free Complimentary Membership in the BICA Society for the 2012-2013 Academic Year and its benefits (including online subscription to the Elsevier journal BICA), you would need to enter a comment in the Special Order Instructions box under your credit card number during the checkout. This choice will not reduce your registration fee.

Conference materials will be distributed at the conference site. Their shipping to the registrant address is not included in the registration fee and, if requested, may require an additional payment. In general, refunds of the registration fee payment upon cancellation will not be provided. Registration payments made in a wrong category will be considered void and will not be refunded.

Electronic payment instructions

General instructions on how to make electronic payments using the BICA Society Shopping Cart are available here. Never use the "back" button or double-clicking. Avoid using the same credit card twice within a few minute interval. To make a payment, click on the link below, then click on the category "BICA 2012 Conference" on the left, then click on the appropriate BICA 2012 registration category, then read the message and click on "Add To Cart", ignoring the Customer Login prompt. At this point, you may either click "Checkout" or click on the category "BICA 2012 Conference" on the left again, then add another payment: e.g., registration for a guest or extra page charges. You can also make several payments separately, if you need separate receipts. Before clicking on Checkout, you may want to print the current page as the quotation.

After clicking on Checkout, you will need to enter your billing information, check the box below, click on "Continue with Purchase", select your payment method, and enter your credit card information. If necessary (see above), you should enter Special Order Instructions that will appear in your transaction records. Click on "Submit Order" once. Do not forget to print your receipt that will appear on the next page. A shorter, text-only version of the receipt will be sent to you automatically via email.
