Online registration for BICA 2011 is open until October 31st. The registration fee is $240 USD for BICA Society Members and $290 USD for non-Members. Furthermore, $290 USD is the only total amount you need to pay if you choose to register and to become a member at the same time (please see below; banquet tickets are sold separately for $30 USD per guest, available on the same electronic payment page). A tip: when completing electronic payments, do not create a username, proceed immediately to checkout. If you need detailed instructions how to make payments, they are available here. Registration fee covers all conference sessions and coffee breaks plus a pre-conference workshop, a lunch in Pinzimini on each day of the conference, a reception, a part of the banquet cost, one copy of Proceedings published by IOS Press (FAIA Series), and other conference materials.

Complimentary free one-year membership in BICA Society is automatically added to you when you select the $290 option during registration. To decline membership, enter the comment DECLINE MEMBERSHIP in the Special Order Instructions box under your credit card number when you checkout. Becoming a Member implies acceptance of the Bylaws and provides you with many benefits, including a discount on your hotel room booking, access to BICA Society movies and repositories, and more to come during this year. Most importantly, your Membership will help BICA Society to succeed in its mission. Membership in BICA Society is voluntary and does not involve any commitment or obligation and will not be auto-renewed. All accepted or invited presenters of BICA 2011 are pre-approved for Full (Regular, Voting) Membership in BICA Society. All others who wish to join BICA Society as Regular, Student or Affiliate Members, are referred to

The following policy borrowed from the Society for Neuroscience Annual Meeting is in effect for BICA 2011. At least one registered participant-sponsor of an accepted manuscript is required in order for the manuscript to be published in the Proceedings and included in the conference program. A registered participant may sponsor only one publication and/or presentation. Registration needs to be paid by the sponsor by the camera-ready submission deadline, otherwise the paper will be discarded.

Special registration waivers or discounts are allowed in the following cases. (a) Keynote Speakers and Conference Chairs, but not Invited Speakers or Session Chairs, receive a 100% registration waiver (all allocated). (b) Up to 3 students are allowed to pay a special student registration fee of $100 USD (all allocated). (c) Selected your-talk-only participants, who will spend all their time at AAAI FSS and will show up at BICA only to make their presentation, are allowed to pay a special reduced registration fee of $100 USD (allocated). (d) Up to one guest attendee who accompanies a registered BICA participant (e.g. a family member; not applicable for professionals including students) is allowed and needs to be registered. Guest registration fee is $80 USD and must be included as part of the registration of the BICA 2011 participant. Guest registration covers conference attendance plus all meals and socials; however, it does not cover a separate copy of Proceedings or the banquet. Banquet tickets ($30 USD) should be purchased separately in advance for guests and participants.

Additional copies of BICA 2011 Proceedings can be pre-ordered at the time of registration for $100 USD per copy (includes shipping). Please email for details and instructions.

If you need an official letter of invitation to the conference for obtaining a US visa, and with all other questions, please contact us.
